Sandbox disclaimer

No live payments

AfreeBank does not process real payments. Every payment flow on this platform is a simulation: payment intents, virtual point-of-sale checkout, bank selection, OTP entry, confirmation, and transaction records. No funds move, no bank accounts are debited or credited, and no card networks or payment rails are involved.

No implied bank partnerships

The bank directory exists for discovery and comparison. A bank appearing on AfreeBank does not mean that bank has partnered with, endorsed, or integrated with AfreeBank. Integration status is always labeled explicitly, and Directory only means exactly that: a listing, nothing more.

Never enter real credentials

Sandbox checkout screens must never be used with real card numbers, real bank login details, or real one-time passwords. All test flows use simulated values. If any page appears to ask for real financial credentials, do not enter them and report it to us immediately via the contact form.

How data is labeled

Bank, product, and fee data carries a source label: Verified (confirmed with the bank or an authoritative source), Curated (researched and maintained by the AfreeBank team), Estimated(indicative figures pending verification), and others. Figures can change at the bank's discretion. Always confirm with the institution before making financial decisions.

When something goes live

If AfreeBank launches live payment capabilities in the future, they will be marked with an explicit Live state, governed by separate terms, and announced clearly. Until then, treat everything on this platform as sandbox or directory data.
